Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! My name is Kindra Umlor (previously Glavin) and I will be your child’s teacher this year.  I started off teaching in Anaheim, California where I taught Kindergarten.  I then moved to the Fallbrook District and taught first grade at W.H. Frazier Elementary. I joined the San Onofre team three years ago. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work with you and your child this year!

You and I have the same goal for your child: an enriching year that builds solid skills for reading, writing, and math.  But more importantly, you and I both want your child to develop self-confidence and a love of learning.

Remember, you are your child’s first, best, and most important teacher! Let your child know that you are interested in what is going on at school.

Communication between home and school is important. Anytime you would like a conference, call me at (760) 731-4395 or e-mail me at kumlor@fuesd.org. You and I are partners in learning!
                                                         Sincerely,
                                                         Kindra Umlor
