Room 14 Homework

Math: Daily homework is a review from that day's lesson.

          Assigned Daily (M-Th).  Due the following day.

Spelling and Vocabulary: There is a weekly spelling list and practice pages that correspond to that week's reading story. Assessment is given on Friday  

         Assigned Monday. Due Friday.

Writing: Each week's writing project is designed to enhance your child's writing skills. Your child should first write a rough draft. After rereading and reworking his/her paper we are asking that you help your child identify incorrect spellings and punctuation errors. On another evening your child should write a final copy.

        Assigned Monday. Both copies due Friday.

Cursive: One practice page each week.

         Assigned Monday. Due Friday.

Reading Log: Students are to read daily for at least 15 minutes to improve fluency and comprehension. Students need to record minutes read, and have parents sign the homework reading log.
